TOPS to meet Tuesday, Dec. 23

TOPS Chapter 9319 El Dorado Springs met in The Firefly Day Program building, 700 E. Hospital Rd. on Tuesday, Dec. 11, for our weigh-in and meeting.

Our Leader, Warren called the meeting to order.

Erin led us in singing, TOPS is Great. We then said our TOPS and KOPS Pledges.

Warren started our roll call with Jan today. We had 16 members weighed in.  We had a 2-pounds gain and a 9.2-pounds loss.  No squeaking through this week, we had a nice net loss of 7.2-pounds.  Phyllis was our Best Loser with a 3.2-pounds loss. Great job, Phyllis!

Today is our Christmas Party, so we didn’t have a program. Carol has the program next week. Linda gave Phyllis awards today, as she was not able to stay for the Awards Program last week. She received a Vacation Loss certificate for returning from at least a two weeks’ vacation with a loss. She also received her Five Pounds Loss certificate. She is doing really well, and we’re watching her weight go down.

Our two words for the Contest this week are: Fruits and Exercise. The contest will end on Dec. 23.

Marie won the right to draw in our Marble Game.  There was $31.50 in the pot, but today was not her day to draw the winning marble.

New Business: Warren announced there were errors on the last New Member list sent out. The new corrected one has those highlighted in blue. Please, throw the other on away.

The week of Christmas, we will meet on TUESDAY, Dec. 23.  Remember, we WILL meet on January 1st and have Awards as usual. Measurements will be taken on January 8th, this is voluntary. If you would like yours taken be sure to see Juanita and Steve who are in charge of that.

With no other business, it was party time! So, we closed with our motto “IF IT IS TO BE IT IS UP TO ME.”
