Fire report for week of Jan. 4

Wednesday, Jan. 7, at 4:13 p.m. the fire department was dispatched on a mutual aid given hay bale fire with Caplinger Mills FD near county roads E. 1000 and S. 1471 in the Caplinger Mills – Stockton area. Two trucks and 12 firefighters responded.

Friday, Jan. 9, 9:26 p.m. the fire department was notified of a possible structure fire on W. Walnut. After an investigation by the fire chief, it was determined to be an unauthorized brush pile burning. Six firefighters were standing by to respond.
