Fire report for week of July 20

On Tuesday, July 22, at 7:16 p.m. the fire deparment was dispatched to a side by side off road vehicle accident at the intersection of county roads 800 and 475. Three trucks and 19 firefighters responded.

On Thursday, July 24, at 7:18 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a structure fire on S. 501 Rd. Four trucks and 15 firefighters responded. A special THANK YOU to the Cedar County First Responders for bring water to our firefighters!

On Friday, July 25, at 12:17 p.m. the fire chief responded to a residence on S. Allison Rd. to investigate a natural gas leak. The situation was being handled by the gas company. Later that afternoon at 4:09 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a single motor vehicle injury accident on EE Hwy. in Vernon County. Three trucks and 16 firefighters responded.
