Fire report for week of July 27

On Sunday, July 27, at 11:52 a.m. two fire officers responded to a residence on Clayzell St. to investigate a reported natural gas leak. Situation had been reported to the gas company for their services.

On Monday, July 28, at 12:42 p.m. the fire department was dispatched for a grass fire at U Hwy. and 701 Rd. which turned out to be a control burn. six firefighters were ready to responded.

On Thursday, July 31, at 10:49 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at US 54 Hwy. and Co. Rd. 2763 in Vernon County. The incident was cancelled while the trucks were enroute. Three trucks and 11 firefighters were responding.
