K-9 HAVIK RECEIVES SPECIAL GIFTS – Law Enforcement rarely gets to see the outcome of the people you “save.” Most of the time you may do CPR or talk someone off the ledge, but rarely do you know the final outcome of their well being.

On Tuesday, I was blessed to reconnect with someone who had been in a crisis situation. K-9 Havik and I  were asked to help search for this missing person. K-9 Havik was able to locate the subject and lifesaving measures were administered. Normally, this is all we know of the story. This person reached out and not only came by to meet us, but brought some special gifts for K-9 Havik. After some time in ICU, this person has fully recovered from the situation and is doing well.

Their story is not mine to tell, but I cannot begin to express my appreciation to the thoughtfulness of this person and their family. This situation will definitely rate extremely high in K-9 Havik’s career.
