Three subjects from most wanted list taken into custody by joint agency effort according to officials, the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team coordinated with the Cedar County Sheriff’s Office and executed a search warrant early Wednesday morning, which resulted in the capture of three suspects that were on the Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted List.

During an investigation, Vernon County Detectives were able to develop a location of the suspects in Cedar County. Contact was made with Cedar County Sheriff’s Office, who was then able to obtain a search warrant for a property on S. 625 Rd. in rural Jerico Springs. The Cedar County Sheriff’s Office then requested the Vernon County SRT team to assist in the operation.

According to Vernon County Sheriff Jason Mosher, two tactical teams were used during the operation. Mosher said the residence was surrounded by one team while another team, using an armored vehicle, approached the residence while using a loudspeaker to attempt to call the subjects out of the residence. Mosher says that one team was able to locate one subject asleep in a camper trailer on the backside of the property. The other team was able to take another subject into custody that exited the residence as instructed.

The third subject refused to exit the residence, which resulted in a team entering the residence and taking the subject into custody without incident. Suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was also located.

Mosher says he would like to thank Cedar County Sheriff Jim McCrary for the great teamwork during the apprehension of three Vernon County fugitives.

The suspects have been identified as 29-year old Cole Ogle of Nevada, 28-year old Cody Bowles of Nevada and 35-year old Amanda King. All three subjects are currently being held in the Vernon County Jail on multiple Felony warrants, all with no bond.
