NEW CHAMBER OFFICERS ELECTED

Last Tuesday the El Dorado Springs Chamber of Commerce executive board met at their regular monthly meeting. New officers were elected. Your new Chamber President is Heather Brown (Abilene Enterprises), Vice President is Jordan Payne (Mid Missouri Bank), and Treasurer is Travis Comeau (McDonald’s Restaurant).

Heather Brown has been on the executive board since June of 2017, Jordan Payne since January 2018, and Travis Comeau since October 2019.

Heather Brown said “I’m honored and humbled to serve as the president of the chamber! We have a great board of visionaries. As a board, we all look forward to improvement and betterment within our organization, our businesses, and as a community in El Dorado Springs and in the surrounding area. I appreciate the opportunity to serve in this fashion and truly anticipate a great year.”

Jordan Payne, newly elected chamber vice president mentioned “I’m just happy to be a part of the chamber and our community. I look forward to continuing to be a part of bettering our community and our network of local businesses and organizations.”

Treasurer, Travis Comeau said of his new position “The chamber is in very good financial shape. Peggy Snodgrass (Chamber Assistant Director) keeps our financials in good order and our membership is very supportive of the organization.”

El Dorado Springs Chamber of Commerce CEO Jackson Tough also said “We continue to have a very strong executive board of individuals that care deeply about our community and the area. These people truly want what’s best for our community and organization. They know that what’s good for El Dorado Springs is also good for their businesses and organizations.”

The El Dorado Springs Chamber of Commerce executive board is comprised of nine members which include President – Heather Brown (Abilene Enterprises), Vice President – Jordan Payne (Mid Missouri Bank), Treasurer – Travis Comeau (McDonald’s Restaurant), Dr. Neil Linsenmayer (El Dorado Springs Family Chiropractic), Toshua McCormick (State Farm Insurance), Dr. Theresa Christian (El Dorado Springs R-2 Schools), Vicki Hillsman (Brower Real Estate), Debbie Floyd (Santa Paula Awning), Ryan Cloyd (Mike & Joe’s Service Station). The chamber of commerce employs two individuals, Peggy Snodgrass serves as Assistant Executive Director and Jackson Tough is the CEO/Executive Director.
