TOPS Chapter 9319 El Dorado Springs met in The Preferred Family Healthcare building, 700 E. Hospital Rd, El Dorado Springs on Thursday, Nov. 2, for their regular weigh-in and meeting.

Warren, our leader, called the meeting to order.

Carol led us in singing “Walkedy Walk, Walk.”

We said our TOPS & KOPS Pledges

Warren led us in roll call; 21 members weighed in. The chapter had a Gain of 7.8 lbs. and a loss of 17.2 with a net Loss of 9.4 Lbs.

Best Loser for the week was Warren with a loss of 6.2 lbs.  Congratulations Warren.

Other good losses were: Sue 1.4, Sharron 1.0, Juanita 1.8, Jan 1.4, and Pat 4.6.

Pam led us in some stretching exercises. Thank you, Pam.

Linda Hall presented the October Awards.

Rachael received her 1,000 miles walked and back in black with perfect attendance awards.

Sheryl received a back in black with perfect attendance award

Smanatha received Her KOPS Achieved Goal award and charm and certificate and also received her 15 pounds lost certificate and back in black with perfect attendance.

Linda C received her 1,500 mile walked award.  (Linda C is a square dancer, a perfect way to get in steps and exercise while having fun doing it)

Kaelin was best loser of the month with a 3.2 lb. loss.

Juanita received the back in black with perfect attendance certificate, halfway to goal certificate and charm, and 500 miles walked certificate.

Jan received her 500 miles walking certificate.

There are five members on the 20 pounds to goal post: Linda C, Jan, Sheryl, Sue, and Margie.

Winner of free dues was Marie.  Since Marie is a KOPS, she gave her free dues to Margie.

Our Chapter did well for the month of October, we had 27.6 gain and a 32.2 loss resulting in a net loss of 6.0 lbs.

Marble game: Marie won the right to draw but did not get the winning one.

New business: Warren read part of the monthly newsletter from our area advocate.

Nov. 21, we will meet on Tuesday instead of Thursday.

Dec. 9, El Dorado Springs Christmas Parade

Dec. 14, TOPS Christmas Party and gift exchange.
