Thank you

Thank you so much for the expressions of love and comfort provided to our family after the passing of our dear loved one, Gene Dale. The prayers, visits, calls, cards, flowers, food and contributions to the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Association are very much appreciated. Thank you to Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home and Reverend Brent Bland for their professional services, and to Brent for his visits prior to Gene’s death…the folks appreciated him so much Thank you to the VFW Post 257 that provided the Military Honors on such a cold, nasty day…you are true patriots, and we are thankful for your service.

Gene received wonderful care provided by CMH Home Health and we all grew especially fond of Terri and Elizabeth…excellent caring RNs.

Compassus Hospice was there at the end of Gene’s life to provide pain relief and comfort to the family…thank you so much. And thank you to Kevin from Evans Pharmacy for hand-delivering pain medication to the home after hours when Gene was is such pain.

It is impossible to say “thank you” enough to Gary and Shirley Vickers who have provided so much love, time and work to make Gene and Dorthy’s lives better. Gene loved the biscuits and gray and special Vickers home made apple butter almost every morning when Gary would come to Gene’s Home to have breakfast…not to mention Gary’s company. Gene loved Gary and Shirley as he did his biological family…Thank You.
