TOPS Chapter 9319 El Dorado Springs met in The Firefly Services building 700 E. Hospital Rd, on Thursday, March 19, for their regular weigh-in and meeting.
Our Leader, Warren called the meeting to order.
Carol led us in singing “Hey Look Me Over.”
We said our TOPS & KOPS pledges.
Warren led us in roll call, 16 members weighed in today, we had a gain of 9.2 and a loss of .6, giving us a net gain of 8.6 pounds. There was a tie for best week’s loser between Jan and Sheryl, they each lost .2 for the week. Congratulations ladies.
Today was our Chapter Recognition Day. This is organized and presented by our weight recorders, Carol and Marilyn. Our chapter had five division winners this year. To be a division winner one must have lost at least 10 pounds from the first weigh-in of the year to the last weigh in of the year. The division level is determined from their weight on the first weigh-in of the year.
The division winners for the year 2025 are: Division 1 (no participants in Division 1 this year).
Division 2: Warren H lost 12.6 pounds in 2025 and is first place winner in Division 2.
Division 3: We have four winners in Division 3; Steve S is the men’s winner; he lost 10.8 pounds to be our first-place division winner in the men’s division 3.
Other division winners in division 3, Phyllis R she became a TOPS member in October of 2025 and within ten weeks became a division winner by losing 11.0 pounds. Phyllis is our second-place winner in the women’s division 3.
Erin N. is our First-Place winner in women’s division three. Erin lost 52.0 pounds in 2025. Erin will represent our local chapter at the State Wide Recognition in Springfield in May as a first place State Division Winner! We are so proud of you Erin.
Division 4: Two members achieved this award; LJ is our 2nd place division 4 winner with a loss of 13.4 pounds
First place division winner is Sue C. Sue lost 14 pounds for the year 2025. Sue also reached her goal weight in 2025 and became a KOPS (Keep Pound Off Successfully). Sue lost a total of 64 pounds to reach her goal, making her our chapter queen for 2025. Congratulations Sue!
We had 3 reinstated KOPS in 2025. Steve and Juanita were both KOPS in 2017 and Steve was State King runner up. We are so excited they are back as KOPS!
LJ regained her KOPS status in 2025 and we are so happy to have her back as a KOPS
Judy B, Judy joined TOPS in 2018 and became our chapter queen that year. Judy has accumulated 3 years as a KOPS.
Marie B – Marie joined TOPS in 2000. She became a KOPS in 2024 and was our queen that year. Marie has accumulated eight years as a KOPS.
Linda H – Linda joined TOPS in 1989 and became a KOPS in 2005. She has accumulated 14 years as a KOPS in 2025.
Marilyn D – Marilyn joined TOPS in April of 2011 and became a KOPS at the last meeting of that same year. Marilyn has accumulated 14 years as a KOPS which, by the way, are all consecutive, meaning she has never lost her KOPS status.
Carol S – Carol joined TOPS in 2001 and became a KOPS in 2002 and was the 2002 queen. She accumulated 17 years as a KOPS.
Jean L. – Jean joined TOPS in 2004 and also earned her KOPS a year later. In 2025 Jean had accumulated consecutive 20 years as a KOPS, never having lost her status in that time.
Margie O – Margie became a KOPS and our 2024 queen last year. She lost 36.75 to goal. Margie is celebrating her 2-year consecutive KOPS anniversary this week.

We currently have a total of 11 KOPS in our chapter. That is exactly half of our membership. Our KOPS members have lost a total of over 400 pounds.
In honor of our 2025 Chapter Queen, Sue who lost 64 pounds to goal, the chapter collected and donated over 70 cans of soup to donate to the food pantry.
