TOPS sends best wishes for happy anniversaries

TOPS Chapter 9319 El Dorado Springs met in the Bethel Free Will Baptist Church, 1300 S Summer St, El Dorado Springs on Thursday, June 3, for their weekly weigh-in and meeting.

Linda H, Leader called the meeting to order.

Carol led us in singing “I Want to Be at That Meeting.”

We said our TOPS and KOPS pledges.

Linda H led us in roll call and walking report. Eighteen members weighed in. We had 11.6 lb. loss and a 6.2 gain resulting in a 5.4 net loss. The week’s best loser for the week was Linda C with a loss of 1.6 lbs.  Congratulations Linda C.

Other good losses this week were; Robbie 3 lb. (two weeks), Pam 2.2 (two Weeks) and Linda W 4.4 lbs. lost.  Congratulations all.

Sue reminded us dues are due for June.

Linda H presented the awards for the month of May.

Those earning “Back in Black with Perfect Attendance Certificates” were; Judy B, Warren, Margie, Pat, Chris and Laura.  Linda noted that Laura has earned this back in black with a perfect attendance award for five months in a row.

Linda C earned her Back in Black with a perfect attendance certificate; she had a 3 lb. loss and was the best loser of the month. Congratulations Linda C.

KOPS awards: Ray, Linda H and Jean earned the KOPS in Black with Perfect Attendance Certificates.

KOPS in leeway were: Marie, Ray, Marilyn, Linda H, Jean, Carol and Juda.

Winner of the free dues was Linda H.

Our members are advancing up the goal stick and some are really close to goal.

Linda reported total losses for the month of May were 35.8 and total gains were 25.8 giving us a net loss of 10 lbs.

The Secretary’s report was read and approved.

Linda reported the cost of the charms she ordered was $105.53

Linda reminded us we will be going over by-laws next week. One of the things she is considering is asking about increasing monthly chapter dues. Please bring your copy of the by-laws, it is the one dated June 2019.

Marble game:  Ray B won the right to draw but did not get the winning one.

Summer contest starts on the 10th. Each member needs to keep track of their exercise miles.

Margie contacted the Stockton Chapter about being our Sister Chapter. They are excited to do this and maybe we can get together sometime during the contest for a photo.

We sang Happy Anniversary to Jean & Jim. They are celebrating 61 years of marriage on June 6.

It was noted LJ and Bill Bishop will celebrate their 55th anniversary on June 4, and we send best wishes for a Happy Anniversary to them.
