Sunday morning worship service at the Rockville United Methodist Church was conducted by Pastor Linda Wansing entitled “What do we think of ourselves?” taken from Like 14: 1,7-14. You are always welcome to join us for worship Sunday at 9 am.

Mt. Zion area some of the area missed the rain Sunday morning and some didn’t. Telephone service is not working most of the time and at some neighbors not at all. Good to see the school buses running again.
Hard to believe this Labor Day will be here with plenty of actives going on.
Dixie Peterson is still doing therapy at Truman Lake Manor. She would enjoy a visit or a card.
Wanda Rector been busy at home keeping the grass mowed, finishing the quilt top together and planning her trip.
Tri-County Quilt Club will met Sept. 12 at 1:30 p.m. at the Rockville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Rockville.
Glad Donna Harris is feeling better, we wish Danny Stoddard a speedy recovery from a recent surgery.
Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm, Belle has been watching the baby guineas that a banty hen hatched and raised to weaning them. The old Guinea’s are letting the little one walk in a straight line behind them. They are cute with their little tail sticking straight up. Belle glad she is not having to watch them; Robin did hatch some little chicks.
Out in the country when you are driving down the road and you see this beautiful area of green and think that would make a beautiful yard, so green; and even and when you get close the plant’s: our soybeans are two- and one-half feet tall but green, not what you want in your yard. Be careful what you wish for.
John and Julia Snethen did their usual with John running the bus route and Julia keeping appointments. Julia had two doctor;s appointments this week and received good news from both. John is recovering nicely from the three skin cancers removed from his left hand two weeks ago.
