by Marge Zink and Julia Snethen

Morning message at the Rockville United Methodist Church by Pastor Larry Sorrells was titled  “Will that be Milk or Meat?” from 1 Corinthians 3:1-9. Join us Sunday at 9 a.m. for worship.

Mt. Zion Home Bible study was held Tuesday 7 p.m. in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home with 12 in attendance. Always room for one more to join us to study the Bible.

Mt. Zion area got snow Wednesday, the third week in a row. The roads were clear on Thursday so we had school. The snow lasted until Saturday. It was neat driving down the roads and the roads being dry and clear of all the snow. The countryside all covered with snow. Guess its still winter.

Beverly Pelkey attended the DAR meeting with Grace Bartz in Buttler last week.

Dixie Peterson is doing therapy at Truman Lake Manor and enjoying visitors.

Tom Pelkey has been out working at the woodpile, but still very thankful for the wood fairies that bring wood and keep the wood box filled.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm, Belle has enjoyed the snow but not the mud. The little people that come visit Robin and Belle wish they would play by her rules, although they’re just babies yet.

Wanda Rector has been home long enough her daughter, Debbie, from Springfield came to visit and help Wanda with some chores.

Donna Harris enjoyed having her daughter and grandson visit over the weekend.

Julia Snethen is much improved, will get the staples out this week. She did make it to get her hair fixed Friday.
