Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, says she had a very large crowed at her Valentine’s dinner on Friday, Feb. 14. She would like to thank everyone who ate with her for the Valentine’s dinner. She says that as far as she knows she will be open the rest of February unless the weather is bad. She is closed very Wednesday.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Feb. 16. I could not get a hold of Brother Mike Dunivan so I do not know what he preached on.

The Harwood Post Office is open Monday through Saturday from 1:15 to 3:15 for people to get their mail, buys stamps and mail packages. The lobby is open 24 hours a day so people can get their mail out of their mailbox.

The Grace United Methodist Church in El Dorado Springs, where Jewell and Helen Ellerman attend, had a guest speaker at the morning and evening service. Parker Garfield of Joplin was the guest speaker on Sunday, Feb. 16. His father, Mark, is the Senior Pastor at the Assembly of God Church in Joplin. Parker helped his dad. He had a very good sermon at bother services. They had a dinner after the evening service.

The Harwood and Schell City areas had another snowstorm Wednesday evening, Feb. 12, and early Thursday morning, Feb. 13. They had around two inches and most of the schools in the area were closed on Thursday. The snow melted pretty fast.
