Rockville Morning Services was by Rockville United Methodist Church by Larry Sorrells was titled “Lock on or Lock Out” from John.

Mt. Zion Home Bible study was held in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home at 7 p.m. each Tuesday evening with seven in attendance to study the Bible.

The Mt. Zion Club will meet in the Beverly Pelkey home, May 15 auction is planned.

We wish a speedy recovery to Wilma Williams after her surgery.

Spring is here in the Mt. Zion area. Everything is green, the trees are all leafed out, overnight grass is growing, sure is a lot of wild mustard greens growing.

We had a few humming birds checking out the feeders in our area; a batch of blue birds hatched out. Life is good in the Mt. Zion area.

Recent visitors in the Howard and Dixie Peterson home were Rick George, Kent Crawford. Beth Dixie had been to the doctors with a cold but is doing better now.

Tom and Beverly were glad to see the wood fairy had been by with a load of wood. They had a few humming birds, Beverly got the windows washed; James and Karen Rosbrugh stopped by for a visit.

Beverly and Marge Zink are still doing their exercise and Marge has stopped her whining. Marge and her whinny friend know they can’t breathe deep and whine at the same time.

Over at the Robin Siegismund farm Belle has found a new game, she likes chasing the buzzards out of the pasture a lot better than the cow chasing her. So far no more little chickens for Belle to watch.

John and Julia Snethen kept Julia’s heart doctor appointment on Wednesday and then had lunch before returning home, Thursday they went to Clinton to meet Jane Sanders and Janet Young to celebrate Jane and Julia’s birthday.
