Sunday morning worship service at the Rockville United Methodist Church by Pastor Linda was titled “Finding Hope” from I Kings 17:8-24. You are welcome to join to join us for worship Sunday at 9 a.m. Bible study Tuesday 9 a.m.
Mt. Zion area has had several inches of rain last week. Things are growing, fields of corn are up how farmers make the plants evenly and spaced also same height is awesome, they would make good quilts!

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm, Belle is one happy dog, she bested Petey, Robin got a new red truck, although Belle doesn’t like to ride in a vehicle; not that she is scared but God gave her four good paws and she knows how to use them for working at home. Petey must like the wind blowing his hair. Belle and Specks rather stay at home helping Mabel. Robin is still crocheting in her spare time but lots more work on the farm now that spring is here.
Wanda Rector really enjoyed her 95th birthday party last week all her family was present.
Tom and Beverly Pelley are getting settled in the new home in Rogersville
Dixie Peterson is still doing therapy at Truman Lake Manor enjoyed lunch with Howard and Brenda Peterson Sunday.
Julia Snethen kept her doctor’s appointment and beauty shop appointment in Osceola and Bolivar this past week. John and Julia enjoyed a restful weekend at home with Ron mowing the yard.
Mt. Zion Club will meet May 18, at Marge Zink home for an all-day meeting rock taco for lunch with work planned for the hostess.
Memorial Day is fast approaching time to send your donations to your cemetery no amount to small. Kidd’s Chapel Cemetery meeting will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 29.
