Mt. Zion area has welcomed some rain showers and cooler weather. The leaves have gotten some color and the shoemack is bright red. Lots of yellow leaves and my lilac bush is blooming.

Wishing a speedy recovery to Nadine Hergesheimer who fell and broke her hip and arm. She is in the hospital in Kansas City.

Happy Birthday to Judy Piepmeier who celebrated another birthday. She hasn’t been counting them for several years. Terry did fix a very good birthday supper.  Keep smiling Judy!

Thursday the Rockville Hand Quilters surprised Bonnie Heiserman with a surprise birthday party to celebrate her birthday.

Wanda Rector got rested up and is ready for her next trip.

Mt. Zion Club will meet on the fourth Wednesday, Oct. 25, for lunch and auction at Marge Zink’s home.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm, Belle is happy for the cooler weather. She has been doing the snow dance but only got frost. She plans to dance again because someone told her it has snowed on Halloween. Robin is still making cute winter hats. Mabel did make some dried apple slices and the little people were by for a visit.
