by Marge Zink and Julia Snethen

Morning message at the Rockville United Methodist Church by Pastor Larry Sorrells was Pour on the Salt and Turn on the Light, from Matthew 5:13-16. Welcome to join us each Sunday at 9 am for worship.

Mt. Zion Home Bible Study was held in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home with eight in attendance. We would be glad to have you join us to study the Bible.

Mt. Zion Club will meet on Feb. 19, at the Marge Zink home.

Mt. Zion area snow is gone again. Seems like Wednesday has been our snow day for the past couple of weeks. Glad it doesn’t hang around long. While trimming the roses there were some green leaves growing.  Mother Nature has them fooled too. Maybe we will have an early spring.

Glad Julia Snethen is home from the hospital and doing well. She had her nails done and went to the grocery store Saturday.

Dixie Peterson is making improvements with the therapy and enjoying her visitors. I’ve enjoyed the phone calls form her.

At the Robin Siegismund Farm, Belle still enjoyed the snow. Her new game is keeping the chickens off the deck. Robin still crocheting and looking at seed catalogs. Time to plant lettuce on Valentine’s Day.

Wanda Rector has been on the go again. She enjoyed watching great grandkid play ball in Ozark, then on to Arkansas to see great-grandson play basketball, both made her proud.

The snow kept the Rockville Hand Quilters from meeting Thursday; we were very disappointed.
