Jewell and Helen Ellerman attended to El Dorado Springs Senior Center fried chicken dinner Sunday, Sept. 18.

Several from the area attended the Walker Fund Days at Walker Saturday, Sept. 17.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Sept. 18. Brother Jon Caudle Sr.’s sermon was taken from Acts. 9.

I talked to Pastor Connie Locke, former pastor of the Schell City United Methodist Church, this past week and she said she was doing well and said to tell everyone hi. She is now pastor of the Marionville United Methodist Church. She says that Marionville had their Apple Festival Days on Friday, Sept. 16, and Sunday, Sept. 17.

Harwood and Schell City area got some much needed rain this past week. They were supposed to have gotten around two inches.
