Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, will hold her Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, Madalyn will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24, and will reopen on Friday, Nov. 25.

Bob and Cheryl Ellerman, of Edwards, spent Friday, Nov. 4, in the home of Jewell and Helen Ellerman. They all attended the Life of Celebration for Jewell Ellerman’s sister, Betty Pearcy, who passed away on Oct. 22. She grew up in the Harwood area. It was held at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada. Burial was at Joplin. Bob took part in the service. There was around 25 relatives present for the service.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Nov. 6. Brother Jon Caudle Sr.’s sermon was taken from III Peter with just one chapter in the bood. It is one of the shorter chapters in the Bible.

The Harwood and Schell area got some much needed rain on Thursday morning, Nov. 3.
