Judith Caudle of Harwood, who was a sister of Waggoner Morerod who passed away on Monday, Aug. 2, 2016, says that there were around 800 that attended visitation for him on Monday evening, Aug. 8, at the funeral home in Kansas City, KS, where he lived before he passed away. She said that the place where they held the service on Tuesday, Aug. 9, was over crowded. His brother, Boyd Morerod of Belen, NM, did part of the service. Waggoner had a sister, Otilla Fox, of Harwood, who attended the service.

Peggy O’Brien of Grandview visited her mother, Ruth Ijams, and her sister, Jeanie O’Brien, over the weekend.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Aug. 14. Brother Jon Caudle Sr.’s sermon was taken from Luke 12.
