Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Aug. 21. Brother Jon Caudle Sr.’s sermon was taken from Luke 12.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman and friend, Rosie Taylor, had dinner at the El Dorado Springs Senior Center Sunday, Aug. 21, for their fried chicken and ham dinner with all the trimmings for their regular third Sunday fundraising dinner.

The Harwood area received around 1 1⁄2 inches of rain late Thursday night, Aug. 18, which was much needed.
