News from Harwood and Schell City

Jewell and Helen Ellerman attended Friday Chicken Friday on Friday, Sept. 6, at the El Dorado /springs Senior Center. It is held the first Friday of every month.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Sept. 8. Brother Mike Dunivan’s sermon Article 6 Baptist Faith in Message was taken from Ephesians 4:4.

Several from the area attended the Schell City Fall Festival Friday evening Sept. 6, and Saturday, Sept. 7

The weather had been hot and dry this past week. The farmers need rain for their late crops that they planted. There hasn’t been very much rain for a week or more.
