Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, says she will start opening up again on Monday, May 4, at her regular time. She says she will put a table or two to one side so she can go by the six foot thing. She will be closed on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10, for Mother’s Day weekend. She says she wants to thank everyone for being patient with her at this time.
Joey and Hunter Coy of Calhoun spent some time with Joey’s parents, Jerry and Karen Coy, while he was there planting beans.
The Harwood Baptist Church had been closed for several Sundays because of the Covid-19.
The Harwood Post Office is open Monday thru Saturday from 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. so people can get their mal, buy stamps and mail packages. The lobby is open 24 hours a day so people can get their mail out of their post office box.
The weather had been real pretty for several days so the farmers could get their crops out and people can get their gardens out.
There had not been much news because of Covid-19. Vernon and Cedar Count had been real lucky because there had not been very many cases in either county.
