Mt. Zion Club will net Nov 20, All day meeting at Marge Zink’s home.

Snow before Halloween in the Mt. Zion Area. The snow was gone before Halloween trick or treaters came. The trees are pretty in their fall colors. The roadsides have been mowed on B Hwy., you can now see the deer better, looks nice.

Love and Prayers to Terri Schiereck, who is in the hospital in Kansas City. We wish her a speedy recovery.

Wanda Rector returned home after a trip with daughter and family to Kentucky where they visited the Ark and other points of interest.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm Belle enjoyed a spa day. She enjoyed the snow, she couldn’t get enough of making doggie snow angels.

Dixie Peterson visitors this past week at Truman Lake Manor have been Kent, Mitchel, Jodi, Tucker Crawford, Beth and  great niece Lisa and family from Fredonia, KS. Howard is a regular, Tucker was happy to tell Dixie about his big deer he shot.

Tom and Beverly Pelkey are enjoying the wood heat. Tom says, “That’s the second time he has gotten  warm from that stick of wood.”

John and Julia Snethen were installed Saturday Nov 2, at Chapter 73 in Clinton. David an Shella Vandivier were they. John is still recovering from knee surgery.
