Mt. Zion area has waterfront property. Water is out. Some of the back country roads are closed; plenty of water in the river for snaggers. We really had Missouri weather. Beautiful spring temperatures thunderstorms and lighting show rain; then three inches of snow. The kinds of snow one likes gone by noon. Didn’t hurt the jonquils that are blooming, nor the garden that was planted.

Stephane in Alabama saw her first humming bird so they are back in the USA.

Sympathy and prayers to the Glen Hadsell family, funeral services were held March 17, with interment at Taberville Cemetery.

Dixie Peterson is doing well-doing therapy at Truman Lake Manor.

John and Julia Snethen are back on schedule. Julia made it to the beauty shop, then both to the eye doctor for tests, and then did some shopping. Julia also visited Marge Zink.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm, Belle is confused, no cars are roaming from the West. Water is over the road; Belle doesn’t like that. Belle and Speck are smelling much better. Robin is still making little people’s blankets.

Marge Zink visited Archie and Judy Pier in Appleton City. Archie was doing better after spending a few days in the hospital.

Tom and Beverly Pelkey are doing fine, Tom thought about getting the lawnmower ready until three inches of snow changed his mind, back to the woodshed. After having the duct work professorially cleaned, Beverly knows now why she never got ahead of the dust. Wood fairy has ordered his Easter bonnet, from the Easter Bunny.

Tri-County Quilt Club will meet April 5, at Rockville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Doors open at 1 p.m. meeting at 1:30 p.m. Bring show and tell. For more information, call Marge at 660-598-4240.
