Mt. Zion Home Bible study meets in the Tom and Beverly home at 7 p.m. each Tuesday. There is always room for one more.

Mt. Zion Club will meet March 18, at 1 p.m. in the Marge Zink home.

Mark your calendars on March 10, for its time to vote in the Presidential Preference Primary Election.  voting at your regular voting place. Remember if you don’t vote you can’t gripe.

Sympathy to the family of Lisa Johnson,  funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 29.

We are looking forward to better weather in the Mt. Zion area but March is coming in like a lamb we know winter is taking a vacation for a couple of weeks. Be nice for the mud to dry up.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm,Belle has lumps in her bed caused by the chickens laying eggs in her bed, so Belle hasn’t broken any but does wish the hens would lay in their nests belle does not eat raw eggs.

Rockville Hand Quilters enjoyed an all-day quilting and a bountiful lunch was enjoyed at noon. We think we are making progress, finished the little quilt. Working on a Sunbonnet Sue quilt, her dresses are made from feed sacks. Our latest quilt is called Round the World, pieced by Eunice Yeager owned by Pam Walker. Ms. Yeager was an area school teacher starting in the rural school.

Tom and Beverly Pelkey are both feeling much better, Beverly is still doing exercise along with Marge Zink who still is complaining.

Julia Sneathen visited her sister Jane and then with her sister Janet and niece from Wisconsin in Clinton on Saturday. Julia is improving but gets tired easily

Donna Harris reported that she saw a buzzard that is a sign of spring.
