Sympathy to Wanda Alexander family

Sunday morning worship service at the Rockville United Methodist Church by Pastor Linda Wansing was titled “Everyone has a life story” from Daniel 6:16-24. You are welcome to join to join us for worship Sunday at 9 a.m. Bible Study Tuesday 9 a.m. For Mother’s Day the men prepared a delicious breakfast for the ladies.
Congratulations to member Anna Marie Engerman who graduated from college the past week.
Congratulation to Deziree Hood who graduated from Appleton City High School. Dez is a daughter of Jana Hood and granddaughter of Robert and Janice Hood and grandnieces of Julia and John Snethen and Janet Young.
Mt. Zion area had more rain Sunday it rained on Easter Sunday so six more weeks if the old saying is right. The back country roads had just opened from being closed with water.
Sympathy to the family of Wanda Alexander, funeral services were held at graveside at the Taborville Cemetery. Wanda spent her life doing what she loved, teaching youth of the area.
Dixie Peterson is still doing therapy at Truman Lake Manor. Howard and Brenda Peterson were recent visitors. Dixie enjoys her few friends several days a week also bingo, television, bingo and cards and most of all visitors.
James and Karen Rosbrugh visited Tom and Beverly Pelkey in their new home in Rogersville, the families enjoyed dinner out and visiting. Hoppy is adjusting as well.
Wanda Rector has spent the past week resting and planning her next adventure.
Over at the Robin Siegismund farm Belle has enjoyed sunbathing and dreaming of making snow angels getting a little tired of all the water keeping the road closed. Mabel has hatched some baby chicks; Robin is waiting for the guineas to hatch Belle and Speck are not. The garden is growing, Robin is making dish rags Belle thinks people need a lot of un-necessary stuff!
Julia Snethen kept her doctors’ appointments and hair appointment and got some bed new which she will need more surgery.
Prayers for Danny, Sheri Suster’s son, as he starts his treatment for cancer.
