Mt. Zion Home Bible study held in the home of Tom and Beverly Pelkey each Tuesday at 7 p.m. had 10 in attendance.

We are having winter weather in the Mt. Zion area; the flannel sheets sure felt good those cold days and winter hasn’t begun yet.

Nice to get Christmas cards in the mail with modern technology, it is cheaper to send that way I assume.

Howard and Dixie Peterson have had no company but Dixie kept her doctor appointments in Clinton and Kansas City last week.

Marge Zink kept her doctor appointment in Kansas City last week getting a good report.

At the Robin Siegismund Farm there was a surprise baby. Holly the calf was born to the old red cow both are doing fine.

The Tri-County Quilt Club met Dec 5 at the Rockville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 19 ladies were present to enjoy a delicious carry-in dinner; presents were exchanged. Show and Tell was by Bobbie, Donna, Madline, Archie, Marge and Phyllis. Jan. 2, the club will meet, weather permitting.

The Rockville Hand Quilters enjoyed an all-day meeting quilting and Christmas carry-in dinner at noon. Presents and dessert at 2:30 break time were enjoyed; Beverly Brown was a guest.

Helen Wyrich and Tyson were visitors in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey Home.

John and Julia Snethen have had a quite week. John took Julia to the doctor on Wednesday with a respiratory infection and sore throat, which has gone on for three weeks now but she has antibiotics,  cough syrup and cough drops  to help her get over this and she is staying home.
