Jewell and Helen Ellerman and a friend, Rosie Taylor, attended the Christmas Dinner at the Senior Center at El Dorado Springs Sunday, Dec. 11.

I talked to Connie Locke Sunday, Dec. 11. She says her and Miss Kitty are doig really well. She said to tell everyone hi.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Dec. 11. Brother Jon Caudle Sr.’s sermon was taken from Colossians 3. They will have church service on Christmas Day, Sunday, Dec. 25. For part of the service the people will choose their favorite song. After church, the Caudle’s visited their son, Jeff, at Bolivar, who had been ill. Several from the area attended the Duke Mason show at the Opera House at El Dorado Springs Thursday, Dec. 8. A dinner was held at the Civic Center prior to the concert. The meal was catered by Madalyn, who owns Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City.
