Mt. Zion area is enjoying a lot more daylight and the grass is sure greening up. Did you get my lettuce planted on Valentine Day? I’m sure we will have a big snow before spring.
Wish a speedy recovery to Nadine Hergesheimer who is recovery from emergency stent for her heart; she returned home the next day and is doing good.
The Rockville Hand Quilters met Thursday at the Rockville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall finishing another beautiful quilt. We are there Thursday from 1 pm to 4 p.m., always happy to have visitors.
Wanda Rector enjoyed watching the roller blade contest her great-granddaughter was in.
Jeweldene Nitchie visited Marge Zink recently.
Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm, Belle is a happy dog; the calves have arrived and doing good, the chickens are laying, Robin is crocheting and enjoying the little people with Mabel.
John and Julia Snethen had a busy week with John keeping his bus route going. Julia kept her appointments in Bolivar and Osceola also doing some shopping before returning home.
Marge Zink celebrated her birthday Sunday with Larry and Betty Teel of Springfield, Eric Peterson of Springfield, Sherry Peterson of Garden City and Brenda Peterson of Richmond with Stacy and Mike Griffith hosting. Marge thanks everyone for cards and calls.
