‘Get Your Kicks on Main Street’ Missouri’s Premier Downtown Revitalization Conference
Captivating storytelling and cultivating vibrant shopping and entertainment destinations will serve as the primary focus for the upcoming Missouri’s Premier Downtown Revitalization Conference, a gathering of over 350 community, Main Street, city, and county leaders, economic developers, entrepreneurs, and small business owners from communities of all sizes, in Missouri and surrounding states, to learn innovative ways to implement the principles of the Main Street ApproachTM.
The conference will take place between July 22 – 24 in St. Charles, MO at the St. Charles Convention Center, and early bird registration ends on June 30th at 11:59 pm.
Hosted by Missouri Main Street Connection (MMSC), this year’s theme “Get Your Kicks on Main Street,” will spotlight the power of a good story for cultivating community pride, attracting visitors, and preserving local heritage.
State Director of MMSC, Gayla Roten, remarked, “Main Street is positioned perfectly to catch the attention of locals and visitors with inspiring stories, picturesque places, and fun experiences bringing the community together to live, work, invest, and play, boosting the local economy.”
“Get Your Kicks on Main Street” will feature spectacular keynote addresses from nationally recognized storytellers and marketing professionals; workshops on innovative partnerships, adaptive reuse case studies, promotional campaigns, and historic rehabilitation; networking opportunities with colleagues and exhibitors; and tailored tours and events that will inspire attendees.
