The Cedar County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 15, in the Christian Church, Stockton. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. with dinner served at 6:30 p.m.

“All Cedar County Farm Bureau members are encouraged to attend this important meeting,” Cedar County Farm Bureau President Peggy Kenney said. “The dinner is complimentary. The business meeting will be of interest to all of our members, and the guest speaker promises to be both entertaining and informative.”

The guest speaker will be Tony Clayton, president of Clayton Agri-Marketing, Inc

“The Cedar County Annual Meeting gives members the opportunity to elect new board members and officers,” said Kenney. “Additionally, we will have the opportunity to make our own county resolutions and fill out questionnaires created by the Missouri Farm Bureau Resolutions committee to help create tentative policy for consideration at the statewide annual meeting in December.”

Cedar County residents who do not belong to Farm Bureau but are interested in attending are most welcome to attend.
