Please bring your confirmation letter and arrive at the First Baptist Church on Main Street between 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17. to pick up your Christmas Basket. If your family was selected to shop with a Lion you should plan to pick up a food basket at the church and you will need to bring your confirmation letter. Park in the lot to the north of the church on Joe Davis Street. Only one car at a time should enter the pick-up area. There will be members of FFA to help you get your food and gifts to the car. If you do not pick up your basket by 11:30, it may be donated to a family on the waiting list. If you have an emergency, please call the church or a Christmas Baskets committee member at 296-4216 before 11:30.
Volunteers should park in the south parking lot but should enter the church at the north double door. Delivery vehicles only will be loaded at the south door so it is important not to create confusion or a traffic jam! Volunteers should arrive by 8:00 a.m. Dress for the weather. The room stays cool due to the doors being opened frequently.
