Dance with the Stars Oct. 1

The Opera House Arts Council will hold a Dancing With the Stars multiple charity community fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 1.

We are working on a fun filled night that will be held at the old gym at the El Dorado Springs R-II School. There will be various clubs dancing and doing skits to make the community aware of projects going on that need a little extra financial help.

As of today we have the following not for profit groups and/or organizations participating that will share their talents on stage: El Dorado Springs FFA Washington Leadership Team, El Dorado Springs Lions Club, the Lighthouse Children’s Theatre, El Dorado Springs Youth Center and the El Dorado Springs POPS Museum.

We still have room for a few more clubs to participate. If you are interested, please contact Paula at 296-5990. Please watch the paper for more information. Tickets will be available soon for this fun filled evening. All of the proceeds will go to various charities in our community to help them with projects.
