Neal’s Restaurant was the target for an early morning “robbery” last week when Alex Martin walked into the restaurant, took the tip jar which contained less than $200– and walked out.
He was charged with misdemeanor theft. According to Cedar County prosecutor Ty Gaither the incident didn’t meet the statutory requirement for theft and Martin was release after a 24 hour hold.
