The last day to request an absentee ballot to be mailed for the August 2, 2022 Primary Election is Wednesday, July 20, 2022. Voters may cast their absentee ballots in person in the office of the Cedar County Clerk, Heather York, until 5:00 p.m. the day before the election. Absentee ballots returned by mail or in person must be received by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, August 2, 2022. For your convenience, the Cedar County Clerk’s office will be open on Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
