Just because you’re camping and cooking over a fire, doesn’t mean you have to eat just hotdogs and s’mores. Join team members from Stockton State Park from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20 as they demonstrate recipes made for Dutch oven cooking.
Dutch oven cooking can easily become a favorite way to cook over a campfire. Not only are Dutch ovens heavy duty, but they are also virtually all-purpose. A Dutch oven is essentially a cooking pot with a lid that can be used to sauté, simmer, braise, sear, fry and even bake food.
