Richard Beckham, Chairman of the Herriman Chapel Planning Committee, invites you to join us at our Fifth Annual Southern Gospel Festival. Activities for our Festival weekend begin Friday evening, Oct. 11, with our Chili and Soup Supper Fundraiser, followed by the Bryant Creek Trio in concert. The evening activities will conclude with a pie auction and a drawing for door prizes.
Activities planned for Saturday, Oct. 12 begin at 9 a.m. with our Second Annual Classic Car Cruise In. If you want to be a part of the Cruise In, please do so. A dash plaque will be presented to the first 20 vehicles arriving and participating in our show. Also, all that will be attending will be encouraged to vote for their favorite entry. The “Peoples Favorite Award” trophy will be presented at 11 a.m. Concessions will be available in the Fellowship Hall, including Angie’s cinnamon rolls, sausage, biscuit plus hot coffee.
Music will start when the New Horizons take the stage at 11 a.m. followed by the Bryant Creek Trio, Truelove Quartet and Shoal Creek Revival Quartet. Dress casual and comfy. This event will be held outdoors, rain or shine. Seating is available under are large pavilion, but you are welcome to bring your lawn chairs. Hotdogs, hamburgers, plus other concessions will be available all afternoon.
Southern Gospel Festival is a free, family friendly event, with no charge for admission however, all financial compensation offered the groups singing on Saturday will come from your free will offerings. Come and enjoy all day or what you can.
We encourage all of our friends to join us as all proceeds from the Soup/Chili Supper, pie auction and the concessions go to support Herriman Chapel Camp 2025. The camp serves and blesses families that live in our area.
All Southern Gospel Festival activities will be held on the Herriman Chapel Campus located at 2800 S. 1001 Rd., El Dorado Springs. We are 1.5 miles south of Cedar Springs on 39 Hwy.
