Register by Aug. 26 for Seed Saver Workshop

The Seed Saver Workshop that will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, in the Cedar County Library in Stockton. Please register by Friday, Aug. 26.

The workshop is being put on by the Cedar County MU Extension Center and cost is $15 per person. The instructor for the workshop will be Robert Balek, Jasper County MU Extension Horticulture Specialist.

Topics covered will be:

·    Grow Genetically Pure Seed

·    Collect Viable Seed

·    Store Seed for Years
