Beverly Faye (Amick) Cunningham, 67, passed away March 24, 2025, at CMH in Bolivar, MO, after a short illness. Beverly was born to George Eugene Amick and Lola Faye (McCullick) Amick on Dec. 18,1957, in St. Clair County, MO. Bev graduated from El Dorado Springs High School with the class of 1976. After graduation, she married the love of her life, George Allen Cunningham, on Aug. 28,1976, at Union Hall Baptist Church. They were married 49 years until her passing. To this union one daughter was born on June 13, 1977, Stacey Marie Cunningham.
Shortly after graduation, Bev started working for Community Springs Nursing Home and worked there for 45 years until her retirement in 2022. She started as a CNA and worked her way up to Billing Clerk. Bev believed in doing a good job no matter what she did. She enjoyed going to the races, reading books, putting puzzles together, playing cards, playing the slots and traveling. Most of all she loved her family and always took time out for them. In 2022 Bev and George adopted their three great-grandkids: Jaxden, Brenley and Timber, which was the apple of her eye.
Bev was proceeded in death by her parents and one Brother, George Eldon Amick.
She is survived by her husband, George of the home; adopted children: Jaxden, Brenley and Timber of the home; daughter, Stacey of El Dorado Springs; sister, Diana Stiver of Willard MO; brother, Ronald Amick and wife, Anita of El Dorado Springs; and sister, Sandra Davey and husband, Larry of Iantha MO, grandkids: Brenna Cunningham, Michael Keith, and Bobbie Ruth and husband, Steven all of El Dorado Springs; and Great Grandkids: Riley, Ryder and Everly; and many more family members.
A Celebration of Bev’s life will be held from 12:30 p.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, April 13, at the Lion’s Club in El Dorado Springs
