Beverly J. (Marchant) Liveoak 1ccBeverly J. (Marchant) Liveoak, 73, passed away Sept. 23, 2016, after a two-year fight with cancer. Beverly passed away in the home of her oldest son, Bobbie Jr., where she had been living the last few months of her life. Beverly had all five of her children by her side when she passed.

Beverly was the third of six children born from the marriage of Orville and Sadie (Rigdon) Marchant. Beverly is survived be one older brother, Kenneth Marchant, of West Plains, and two younger sisters, Linda (Marchant) Dixon, of Simpsonville, SC,  and, Frances (Marchant) Windsor of Fair Play. Beverly joins two brothers who preceded her, Eugene Marchant and Billy Marchant, both were from Modesto, CA.; her parents who preceded her, Orville E. Marchant and Sadie M. (Rigdon), of Fair Play;  two great-grandchildren, Amy Jo Liveoak, daughter of Bobbie E. Liveoak Jr. and great-grandson Hunter Raye Liveoak son of Beverly’s grandson, Bobbie E. III and Kandace Liveoak.

Beverly was born in Modesto, CA., on June 4, 1943. She attended school at Turlock, CA.

Beverly married Bobbie E. Sr. on Sept. 20, 1959. They were married for 55 years before Bobbie Sr. passed Jan. 28, 2015. Five children were born from that marriage: Bobbie E. Liveoak Jr. – Bolivar, Tamara J. Liveoak – Gasville, AR., David Q. Liveoak – Neosho, Gordon C. Liveoak – El Dorado Springs, and Susan M. Liveoak (Johnston) – Hot Springs, AR.

Beverly worked at Hammonds Black Walnuts in Stockton, before her husband, Bobbie Sr., retired. After both had retired, they moved to Dierks, AR. They made woodcrafts and traveled to various craft shows.

Later they became park attendants at various campgrounds in Arkansas.

Beverly leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
