Brett Allen Mattingly, 59, Broken Arrow, OK, passed away just after midnight on Nov. 28, 2021.

Brett was born June 9, 1962, to Harold and Virginia Mattingly in Norman, OK.

Brett enjoyed a variety of activities, particularly camping and fishing, watching OU football and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Brett will be remembered for his sarcastic sense of humor, love for family and his passion to help others.

He is survived by his wife, Diane (Sparks) Mattingly – Broken Arrow, OK; two sons, Aaron Mattingly, and wife, Michelle – Parker, CO, and Eric Mattingly – Tulsa, OK; two stepsons, Tyler Holt – Broken Arrow, OK, and Trever Holt, and wife, Kayla – Clarksville, AR; grandchildren, Macy and Logan Mattingly, Hazelynn Holt; father, Harold Mattingly, and wife, Joy – Eldorado Springs; sister, Lindy, and husband, Gary Sherman – Wheatland; two step-sisters, Gay Lynn Burns, and husband, Derrick – Grinnell, KS, and Kyla Entrikin and husband, Chris – Eldorado Springs; and many, many more friends and family.

Brett is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Mattingly, and granddaughter, Anniston Holt.

Honorary pall bearers: Kim Vass, Greg Choate, Lauri Choate, and Brian Choate.
