Delbert Eugene Blagg, 85 , was born in Cedar County on May 3, 1936, and passed away in El Dorado Springs on Nov. 30, 2021.

He resided in California most of his adult life and loved traveling extensively overseas for work and returned to Cedar Springs in the early 1990’s. Delbert’s life was full; he was a private pilot, owned his own plane, an Army veteran, a member of the Clintonville Masonic Lodge, avid hunter, fisherman and loved to pull pranks on people.

Delbert was preceded in death by his wife, Melanie: four sisters, Thelma Pritchett, Mary Trigg, Betty Mayben, Ruth Kelley; brother Kenneth Blagg.

He is survived by Angie Modlin (Paul), Robert Meeks Jr. (Amber), Angie Fyfe, Patty Yocham, Dewayne Boyd; numerous nephews and nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces, grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, many friends and his caregivers at Community Springs Nursing Home.

Graveside services for Delbert Blagg were held on Friday, Dec. 3, at Love Cemetery under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
