Charles Terre Hargrove

Charles Terre Hargrove, 74, Osceola, passed away Friday, Dec. 24, 2021, at Mercy Hospital, Springfield. Terre was born May 16, 1947 to Charles E. and Patricia J. (Evans) Hargrove.

Terre grew up in Nevada and Clinton graduating from Clinton High School Class of 1965. He attended Central Missouri State College in Warrensburg. Over the years, Terre operated several family businesses. Then from 1996 until his retirement in 2012, he worked for Murphy Family Ventures in Nevada.

Terre is survived by two sons, Jon Jackson (Rebecca) – Creighton, and James Hargrove (Amanda) – Milo; daughter, Tami Thomas – Deerfield; fiancé, Barbara McGinnis of the home in Osceola and her four children, Mike White – Walker, Alan Mathis – Springfield, Anna Busey – Milo and David Hemphill, Linn Valley, KS; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Susan Hargrove and daughter, Teresa.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
