Cheryl Diane Fox

Cheryl Diane Fox, 56, El Dorado Springs, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021 at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar. She was born Feb. 16, 1965 in El Dorado Springs to Kenneth Gerald “Cotton” Dobbs and Juva (Gilpin) Dobbs.

Cheryl graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in 1983.

On March 18, 1988. Cheryl married Jimmy Calvin Fox. To this union two children were born: Sabrina Leann and Joshua Calvin.

After graduation she went to work at Dunbrooke Sportswear and then went to work at Farm and Home bank. She left the bank to stay home with her kids. After the kids got older  she went to work at the

El Dorado Springs School in the cafeteria. She worked there for a while then  went to work for U S Bank where she had been for six years.

Cheryl was GiGi to her three amazing grandkids: Bentley Dean, Xzavier Cruz and Alixzandryia Harper.

She loved spending time with them and was one of her favorite things to do. She never missed a chance to spoil them.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Fox, of the home; parents, Kenneth “Cotton” and Juva Dobbs – El Dorado Springs.; brother, Donald Dobbs – El Dorado Springs; son, Joshua Fox – El Dorado Springs; daughter,  Sabrina (Fox) Black and husband, Dakota Black and their children : Bentley, Xzavier and Alixzandryia – El Dorado Springs, along with aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Services for Cheryl Diane Fox were Friday, Aug. 27, at the First Baptist Church, El Dorado Springs

Interment was at El Dorado Springs City Cemetery under direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
