Mom and Pop enjoyed many mornings of companionship drinking coffee and having morning devotions on the back deck looking out over the lake.

Our Pop and Grandpa dearly loved his family and had a deep concern for our spiritual welfare. The grandchildren enjoyed rides with grandpa on his pioneer on the trails that they made in the woods.

After his accident on a construction site in 1991, he went through many surgeries and endured lots of pain. In spite of all he went through, he had a great love and compassion for others. He will be greatly missed!

The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks for the prayers, sympathy, and help through this time of sorrow. All who care to, are invited to the school hall for the evening meal after the service.

Funeral services for Donald Owen were held on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016,  at the Cedar Springs Amish Mennonite School with burial  in the Amish Mennonite Cemetery. Local arrangements were under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
