Gary Wayne Esry was born Nov. 30, 1955, the oldest son of James B. and Evelyn (Chism) Esry.

On July 15, 1993, Gary was united in marriage to Nancy Sue Sorensen. To this union daughter, Ginelle was born.

Gary started working for his parents at El Dorado Springs Esry’s Livestock Auction at a young age. Gary was multi-talented, able to work in mechanics to carpentry; he worked at Esry’s Livestock Auction Company, Chevy Dealership, RediMix Companies in El Dorado Springs, Witt Engineering, and Barrington Manufacturing. Whatever Gary built or repaired, he excelled.

Gary’s favorite pastime was taking Ginelle to her singing events. She was his pride and joy. Gary had a love for flying; in 1994, he received his private pilot’s license from Pro Flight Air. He loved fishing and target practicing; he always waved and smiled at everyone. He enjoyed his morning coffee at McDonald’s and so many other stories that could go on and on.

A few months ago Gary made the most important decision of his life, by choosing Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and experienced the rite of baptism with Nancy and Ginelle.
