John David Rogers, 44, passed away Friday, Sept. 23, 2016, in Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green, OH. He was born on Oct. 11, 1971, in El Dorado Springs to James and Bernadette (Greene) Rogers.

John married Kyle Elizabeth Crockett on June 1, 1996, in Warrensburg.

John worked as a Cable Technician for nearly 20 years with Time Warner Cable.

He had a strong devotion to his faith and was a proud parishioner of St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church in Bowling Green.

He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting among his other outdoor activities.

John was a devoted family man who loved his wife and children and being with them above all else.

In addition to his wife, Kyle, of 20 years, he is survived by his children – Mary Madison Rogers, Noah David Rogers, Grace Elizabeth Rogers and Ryleigh Anne Rogers, all of Bradner, OH; brothers: Mike (Bonnie) Rogers of NC, Mark (Phyllis) Rogers of El Dorado, Daniel (Sharon) Rogers of Missouri and Fr. Joel Rogers of Kentucky; sisters – Angela (Sonny) Jones of Oklahoma, Paula (Gary) Ast of Kansas, Mary (Kip) Jackson of Missouri, Deborah (Andrew) Schrag of Missouri, Patricia (Harold) Day of Oklahoma, Theresa (Robert) Miller of Missouri, Stephanie (Robert) Cartwright of Missouri, Dolores (Ron) Cartwright of Missouri and Regina (Sean) Hutman of Missouri.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, Sept. 27, in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Bowling Green, OH, with Fr. Jason Kahle, celebrant, and Fr. Joel Rogers, concelebrant. Committal services were in St. Rose Cemetery, Perrysburg, OH. A bereavement luncheon was served at St. Thomas More Church immediately following the cemetery committal services.
