Joyce Ann (Green) Garver

Joyce Ann (Green) Garver, 83, Taberville, passed away Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021. She was born on Oct. 23, 1937, to Clarence and Mabel (Moore) Green.

She graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in 1956. Joyce loved to read, loved to bake in her kitchen and loved to travel.  She especially enjoyed the cruises she was able to take.

She was united in marriage to Glenn Albert Garver on Aug. 24, 1958. To this union, five sons were born.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Glen, in 1999, and a stillborn daughter on May 13, 1961.

Joyce is survived by Clarence and (Julie) – Flemington, Lowell and (Martha) – Rockville, John and (David) – Annandale, MN, Earnie and (Susan) – Rockville, Jamie and (Carrie) of Stockton, Missouri; also survived by three sisters, Doris and (Paul) Hurling, Melba and (Wilbur) Smith and Pat Gerster; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; nieces;  nephews; relatives; and friends.

Family suggests contributions be made to Taberville Cemetery in care of Sheldon Funeral Home.
